Annual first-Saturday-of-August community festival at the Black-owned Sankofa Video Books & Cafe in Shaw, founded by hip-hop artist and educator Bomani "Baba" Armah (the Watermelon Man). A free, family-friendly celebration of summer, community health, education, and everything red, black, and green, with music and performances 3-8 PM.
