This Cookie Notice is a starting draft. The specific cookies in use can change as we add or remove vendors; review and update this list with counsel and your engineering team periodically.
This Cookie Notice explains how BlackEvents.us (the “Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”). For more about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember you, understand how you use it, and (in some cases) deliver personalized content or ads. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, SDKs, and device identifiers.

U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of Google AdSense may constitute “sharing” under these laws. To opt out, submit a request via our contact page with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We aim to honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” for the browser sending the signal.
