Black Brunch in Dallas: 10 Spots & Day Parties to Know (2026)

From South Dallas soul food to Oak Cliff empowerment tables and downtown day parties — 10 Black brunches worth your Saturday.

By Ayana Baldwin, Gulf & South Correspondent

Dallas brunch runs deeper than mimosas. Across South Dallas, Oak Cliff, and the Elm Street stretch downtown, Black-owned kitchens and community organizers have built a weekend rhythm all their own — post-church soul plates, Afrobeats day parties, and tables built around sisterhood and fellowship. Here are 10 spots and recurring series to know.

Sweet Georgia Brown — South Dallas

An iconic Black-owned soul food restaurant at 2840 E Ledbetter Dr. This is the traditional post-church plate — a soul brunch in the classic sense. If you want the roots of Dallas soul food, start here.

Kitchen + Kocktails — Downtown

Black-owned soul food brunch at 1933 Elm St, downtown. Craft cocktails, a live DJ, and a full soul menu, running every Saturday and Sunday. It brings the energy of a night out to the brunch table.

Cafe Nubia — Rosemeade

At 3920 Rosemeade Parkway, Cafe Nubia serves a Saturday Afro-fusion champagne brunch buffet with a live band. Come back for "Sunday Funday AfroFusion," a day party and brunch spinning Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Dancehall. Two vibes, one kitchen.

Brunchaholics — Dallas Farmers Market

A weekend brunch pop-up from chef Jessie Washington at the Dallas Farmers Market, 920 S Harwood St. The signature is a soul food burrito — soul flavors folded into something you'll want to line up for.

Rose Room — Dallas

Rose Room runs "Brunch Royale," a themed Sunday brunch with upscale styling. If you're dressing up for the occasion, this is the table for it.

SEEK Lounge — Downtown

The "Aunties + Uncles Only" grown-and-sexy day party at 2026 Commerce St. Every Saturday from 4 to 9pm, 21+, with classic R&B, soul, and 90s–2000s hip-hop. Built for the grown folks who want their music right.

Brunch In Colour DFW — Rotating Venues

A monthly brunch experience for Black women 30+, hosted across rotating DFW venues. The focus is sisterhood and networking — a room built for connection, not just a meal.

Bibles & Brunch — Paradiso

A faith-forward community brunch at Paradiso, centered on fellowship among Black Christian women. Food and faith at the same table.

Black Man, Your Mental Health Matters Brunch — Downtown

A rooftop brunch at 1555 Elm St Rooftop Lounge that centers Black male mental-health conversation and community. A gathering with purpose, above the city.

The Galiston House — Oak Cliff

An intimate Black women empowerment brunch at 206 W 10th St in Oak Cliff. Small room, real conversation, community at the core.
