About this event
The Juneteenth Arts Festival, hosted by the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe (WBTT), takes place on N. Orange Ave. in Sarasota from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The free outdoor festival features numerous Black-owned businesses, food vendors, and non-profits, plus screenings of short films by Ringling College students and live music on an outdoor stage. WBTT, the only professional Black theatre company on Florida's west coast, anchors the festival with theatrical performances and cultural programming.
