The Stax Museum of American Soul Music, the only museum dedicated solely to soul music, hosts free or reduced-admission Juneteenth programming on the site of the legendary Stax Records. Visitors can explore the Soulsville roots that shaped Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, and the Staple Singers, with live music and youth performances from the Stax Music Academy as part of the city's broader Memphis Juneteenth Festival weekend.
