Held inside the Douglass, a 1921 venue that hosted Bessie Smith, Cab Calloway, Otis Redding, and Little Richard on the chitlin' circuit, the event grounds Juneteenth in Macon's Black music and cultural history. Attendees can expect performances, speeches, and a formal program honoring family, community, and freedom.
