NewBo City Market hosts a Juneteenth Festival from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2026. The free, family-friendly celebration features live music and performances, local nonprofit and Black-owned business booths, food and merchandise vendors, and family-friendly activities throughout the historic market space in the NewBo District. The festival is one of Cedar Rapids' featured summer events and brings together community organizations to commemorate Juneteenth with culture, education, and entertainment.
