UMB Annual Juneteenth Jubilee

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) invites the campus community and West Baltimore neighbors to its Annual Juneteenth Jubilee at the 4MLK Building. The lunchtime gathering commemorates the end of slavery in the United States while celebrating African American freedom, culture, and achievement across UMB's seven professional schools. Programming includes a DJ and live music, free food featuring soul food favorites, giveaways, vendor tables from Black-owned businesses, and remarks from UMB leadership and community partners. Organized by UMB's Office of Community Engagement and the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the Jubilee has grown into one of the largest workplace Juneteenth observances in downtown Baltimore and is open to all UMB employees, students, and guests.
