Augusta Museum of History Annual Juneteenth Celebration

The Augusta Museum of History hosts its Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 1-3 p.m. The afternoon includes a special performance by the Jessye Norman School of the Arts at 1 p.m., a reading of 'Jaylen's Juneteenth Surprise,' Zydeco music in the Rotunda, Juneteenth-themed crafts, a scavenger hunt, and a public reading of the Emancipation Proclamation. A documentary screening rounds out the family-friendly programming. Included with regular museum admission.
