We started with JuneteenthEvents.us — a seasonal site that aggregated thousands of celebrations across the country. The same audience kept asking us the same thing: what about the rest of the year?

So we built this.

What you'll find here

BlackEvents.us is a year-round directory of Black events:

• Brunches — day-party energy, daytime hours
• Festivals — outdoor culture and music
• Networking — mixers, founder dinners, professional circles
• Nightlife — afterhours, DJs, and dance floors
• Culture — art, history, heritage, ideas
• Family — kid-friendly cookouts and weekends

We cover cities like Atlanta, DC, NYC, Houston, Chicago — with more launching each month.

How it works

If you're a guest: browse by city, browse by category, find what's coming up. Subscribe to the newsletter if you want the highlights in your inbox.

If you're an organizer: submit your event — it's free. We review and publish within 48 hours.

If you're a vendor (photographer, caterer, DJ, AV): join the network. We match you with organizers running events that need what you offer.

What we won't do

No algorithmic burying. No surprise fees. No selling your data. We charge for featured placement and banner ads — that's it. Everything else is free, including the directory listing itself.
